Bold and Bright

It is difficult to stand out in the saturated world of Instagram. Yet somehow, Anya’s profile and subsequent fashion blog always catch my eye. Or should I say, she catches my scroll. Her ensemble, her smile, her colors all work together to make her the star of my photo feed.

If you know me, you know I am not afraid of bright colors. Anya’s use of color and patterns and fabric is, simply put, inspiring. She takes high fashion trends and makes them accessible for the busy, practical, messy woman. Like me. And, I suspect, like you. I can wear a sundress and heels on my bike ride to the park, hot pink patterns to work, or a bedazzeled gown on my birthday. Anya shows us that professional doesn’t exclude fashionable, that fashionable doesn’t exclude functional, and that neither exclude expressing oneself.

“Be yourself! Wear what you like and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.”

~Anya

Studying to become a doctor in Atlanta, Anya’s blog highlights ways to make your style adaptable for any setting. Fashion isn’t just reserved for the Carrie Bradshaw’s of the world! It is for the doctors, the mothers, the servers, the engineers, the artists, the electricians, the students, the lawyers of the world. Anya’s commitment to being herself and courage to share that with us brings me joy and I look forward to watching where the world will take her.
